Yeah, this is a post for Crumpet.

On saturday night, we went out for my brother-in-law’s bucks night. I skipped the ’shoot each other with guns’ part, and headed into Victoria Street for the much more appealing ‘eat vietnamese food and drink booze’ part of the evening.

The buck was sporting a couple of very nasty welts on his stomach from the shooting bit, and by the time I arrived at dinner, he had downed his human clothes, and replaced them with a Batman outfit. He was loving it. After dinner, we popped across the road to the VicBar (very popular with fancy-pants style-ponies) for a couple of fancy-pants ales. (I mean really, Kronenbourg on tap?)

While Batman-buck was lapping up the attention of all and sundry, I was surveying the room, and spotted Australia’s favourite short-arse. There really was no choice from then on. Our drunken Batman-buck sauntered over, annouced fanatic devotion, and got little Anthony to sign his welts. As Batman-buck turned to walk away, he looked back coyly over his shoulder and smouldered “It you’re ever in Gotham City, just look me up..”
